LA Lady hat is knit from the bottom up with pre-stranded beads that are added to the project as you go. While the pattern is overall fairly simple, the beads offer a nice change of pace while knitting and keep things interesting. A light blocking is recommended to make your beads really pop and shine through the cables.

Materials:
Approximately 180-360 yds {165-330m} of fingering weight yarn
238-486 size 8/0 beads

L.A. Lady Hat is #sizeinclusive, but if you find that your size is not represented, please send me a PM and I will try to adapt the pattern for you!

Baby (16”, 40cm)
Child (18”, 45cm)
Youth (20”, 50cm)
Adult Small (22”, 55cm)
Adult Medium (24”, 60cm)
Adult Large (26”, 65cm)

Measurements are for hat circumference and do not include negative ease. Add approximately 1” (2.5cm) for each smaller size and 2” (5cm) for each larger size to account for negative ease (stretch). Negative ease helps the beads pop!

US 1 (2.25mm) 16” (40cm) circular needle or 32” {80cm} circular needle long enough for “magic loop”
Beading wire or collapsible eye needle
